What Origin is
The 4th sovereign workspace in FVS (alongside VibeCoder, VibeScope, FreshCards). Origin is the platform root — settings, account, billing, cross-workspace defaults.
Per INDEX.md §O: Origin is a workspace, not a chip. It does not appear in chip rows. It has its own workspace-id.
Settings 2-tier model (per freshvibe-design memory topic)
- Workspace-level settings (default, from Settings shortcut) — scoped to active workspace
- Platform-level settings (via Origin → Platform Settings) — cross-workspace, system-wide
The Settings shortcut opens workspace-level by default. People customize what they're working in, not the platform.
Workspace switcher
The workspace switcher lives in the top bar, not the dock. Per INDEX.md §O: "Putting workspace switcher in dock — use top bar." Origin is reachable from the workspace switcher in the top bar.
Origin as project anchor in docHub
In docHub, Origin is the "complete overview" workspace — when a user filters docHub with no project specified, they get Origin (the complete cross-project view).
